Why Good Ancestors?
We’re called the The Good Ancestors Project because we wish to act responsibly on behalf of the many, many people we hope will live and flourish in the future.
The idea that future generations matter is both common sense and made explicit throughout many human cultures and traditions. There is strong evidence to suggest we are living at a time of unprecedented change, and that our actions today will have profound and long-lasting impacts on the future.
What we do
Our mission is to identify project ideas that could positively affect future generations, connect talented individuals to work on them, and provide support.
Although we are Australian based, we are focused on global challenges. We aim to support talented individuals across our region to work on these challenges by connecting them with advice, infrastructure, expertise and support from a global community of highly talented and like-minded people.
